FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP OIL & CBD or FS OIL?
The primary difference between hemp oil & CBD oil is where the oil itself is derived. Hemp Oil is derived from the seeds of the hemp plant only. Although is abundantly nutritious and often used in cosmetics and cooking; CBD Oil or Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is derived from the stalk, stems, leaves or flowers of industrial hemp plants. Our Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is extracted from the flower of proprietary bred CBD rich Hemp plants. This is a superior extract used for medicinal purposes.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CANNABIS AND HEMP?
One of the questions that often comes up is, what is the difference between cannabis and industrial hemp? Think of it this way. Cannabis Sativa L is the family. Then under that family there are two groupings, psychoactive and non-psychoactive. Our products are hemp derived, non-psychoactive containing less than 0.3% THC. Our strains contain all available cannabinoids like CBD, CBN CBG and many more.
WHAT IS THE BEST CBD ON THE MARKET?
The best CBD oil can be found at Sea Island CBD. We believe there is more to hemp than just CBD. In fact, our products contain some of the most diverse cannabinoid profiles on the marketplace — the theory being that all of these molecules interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) in different ways and to different targets.
WHAT PART OF THE PLANT DOES CBD COME FROM?
CBD oil is derived from the stalk, stems, leaves, and flowers of the hemp plant. The only part of the hemp plant that doesn’t contain CBD oil is hemp seed. Read more about the difference between CBD Oil and Hemp Oil.
WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?
Cannabinoids are part of a class of diverse chemical compounds that act on receptors in the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). Unlike THC, CBD and other cannabinoids are non-psychoactive. Our full spectrum oil contains all 113 cannabinoids.
DOES CBD OIL SHOW UP IN A DRUG TEST?
CBD, also known as cannabidiol, generally will not test. That’s because drug tests are not looking for all cannabinoids, they’re looking for one specific cannabinoid; THC. However, varying strains of CBD contain traces of THC. Because our oil is a concentrate, if it is used often, it will build up in your system. For this reason, we cannot guarantee you will pass a drug test after taking FS Hemp Oil.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF CBD OIL?
The only side effect of CBD Oil typically is drowsiness.
CAN YOU GET HIGH ON CBD OIL?
No, CBD Oil will not get you high.
WHAT IS FULL SPECTRUM EXTRACT?
Full Spectrum CBD Oils have over 113 cannabinoids that occur naturally in Industrial Hemp. Using organic ethanol, otherwise known as the Universal Solvent, we are able extract all cannabinoids leaving us with Full Spectrum Product.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR CBD TO TAKE EFFECT?
Most people will start to see the benefits of taking CBD Oil almost immediately, 10 to 15 minutes. We have found that for some clients after starting a daily regimen, they find relief in a few days time. The length of time depends on the individual’s body weight and how well their metabolism works with the CBD Oil.
IS CBD OIL LEGAL TO SHIP?
CBD Oil products made by Sea Island CBD are 100% legal to ship to all 50 states in the United States.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT DOSE OF CBD I SHOULD TAKE?
How much CBD Oil you should take is an important question, but one that is difficult to answer without knowing your specific expectations and limitations. The recommended dosage of CBD Oil is different for every person because we all metabolize differently. We recommend working up to a full dose and beyond to reach desired beneficial effects for your body. Please feel free to email or call with questions.
